The Best Restaurants at the Eiffel Tower (and Nearby)

The Iron Lady holds a special appeal for everyone, whether they’re Parisians or not. But when it comes to finding a place to eat nearby—and avoiding tourist traps—it gets a bit trickier. Here’s a roundup of the most appealing restaurants (near) the Eiffel Tower—and those where you can enjoy lunch with a view.

1. Bonnie at SO/ Paris | Restaurant with a view of the Eiffel Tower

At first glance? Perched on the 16th floor of the SO/ Paris hotel, on the banks of the Seine between Bastille and the Marais and overlooking Île Saint-Louis, Bonnie offers a breathtaking view of the City of Light: the vision created by Jordane Arrivetz of the Notoire design firm, who chose to adorn the walls with huge floor-to-ceiling windows and the ceiling with a mirror to reflect the capital’s landmarks. No matter where you sit, a new perspective unfolds before you. The atmosphere is both chic and relaxed, with velvet banquettes, marble tables, touches of gold, and a curated playlist that features soft, jazzy music. A stunning setting that sets the tone for a top-notch dining experience with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. But that’s not the only draw of this trendy spot, which serves as a restaurant, bar, and club all in one…

On the plate, the chef draws inspiration from French culinary tradition while putting a bold, modern spin on it. Wagyu beef tartare is served as tacos, tuna carpaccio is paired with smoked oil, the grilled cheese sandwich is paired with summer truffles, and the château filet beef is served with a Béarnaise sauce. For sides, guests can easily choose between French-style peas or mac and cheese—because at Bonnie’s, Paris has never felt closer to New York... After dinner, head to the restaurant’s breathtaking bar, where the menu offers a wide selection of classic cocktails and original creations that guests can savor on a terrace offering a 360° view of Paris and its most beautiful landmarks, including the iconic Eiffel Tower.

2. The SAX Paris | Left Bank Hotel with a rooftop

The 5-star SAX Paris Hotel has already established itself as one of the 7th arrondissement’s new gourmet hotspots. Opened in 2025, this luxury hotel has quickly carved out a niche for itself in the neighborhood’s highly selective scene, featuring two restaurants, two bars, and a rooftop overlooking the Parisian skyline.

Japanese cuisine without leaving Paris. Located on the first floor of the SAX Paris hotel, Kinugawa Rive Gauche boasts an unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower—perfect for those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground while dining with a view of the tower. Its terrace, with nearly 200 seats, is ideal for summer gatherings, when the sun slips behind the rooftops and Paris gradually lights up. Inside, the 180-seat dining room blends Japanese-inspired elements—printed fabrics, graphic mirrors, and paper lanterns—with contemporary French sophistication (patinated bronze and fluted natural wood). On the menu, Kinugawa Rive Gauche reinterprets Japanese cuisine through signature dishes such as miso-marinated black cod and tuna tartare with caviar. The experience continues with a yuzu cocktail, to be enjoyed at the restaurant’s bar or on the 350 m² rooftop. From 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., breakfast features perfectly executed classics—eggs cooked to order, pancakes, avocado toast, and pastries—as well as hot dishes prepared live at the live cooking station. Late risers can extend the pleasure with a late breakfast option at the bar. On Sundays, it’s time for a Japanese-inspired brunch: signature appetizers, sushi, maki, California rolls, pastries, and desserts, complemented by an à la carte main course blending two cultures—from a wagyu croque-madame to a Japanese omelet, right through to Eggs Benedict with a twist featuring yuzu hollandaise sauce.

The hotel’s second restaurant, Le SAX, takes a decidedly offbeat approach. Echoing the RF monogram that adorns the façade, the ceiling features a spectacular reinterpretation of “Liberty Leading the People” by street artist STO. The chandelier, a one-of-a-kind piece crafted in Murano, was designed by Venetian artist Christian Pellizzari. Guests can dine here all day long, either in the dining room or on the secluded garden terrace overlooking the pool. The light, seasonal menu emphasizes locally sourced ingredients: arancini with candied lemon and Parmesan, gravlax salmon with tzatziki and seaweed, roasted cauliflower with sesame and black garlic, or the SAX cordon bleu—perfect for sharing between two.

3. Brach Paris | View of the Eiffel Tower from the rooftop bar

Opened in 2018 in the 16th arrondissement, this 5-star Starck-designed hotel features several lounges and dining venues, each with its own unique atmosphere. Whether it’s after-work drinks, a romantic dinner to celebrate a wedding anniversary, or brunch with friends… there’s a perfect setting here for every occasion. From the ground-floor restaurant to the Greek-style terrace on the first floor, the experience extends all the way to the rooftop with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

Open on sunny days from 5:30 p.m. to midnight, the rooftop is accessible—without a reservation—to some 30 to 40 lucky guests. Under the Villa Minuty brand, the rooftop exudes a gentle Provençal charm: light wood furniture, terracotta pottery, hints of blue, and an abundance of green plants come together to create a sunny and soothing atmosphere.

On the menu? You can’t miss the Villa Minuty Côtes de Provence, available in white, rosé, and red. If you enjoy exploring the best cocktail bars in Paris, you’ll happily head there to sip a bittersweet Paloma Garden (Anae gin, verbena, rose liqueur, grapefruit), a rich and indulgent “Smoke Bloody” (Mahani mezcal, tomato, apricot liqueur, lemon, and thyme), or a refreshing “Mex-Jito” (Volcan tequila, apple liqueur, peppermint, and ginger beer).

Looking for a bite to eat? Chef Adam Bentalha, who oversees the hotel’s culinary offerings, has created beautiful dishes to enjoy throughout the evening. Choose from: the “Spreadable Experience,” featuring three flavors—including fig-infused olive tapenade, creamed bell peppers, artichokes confit in olive oil, tuna rillettes, or pappa al pomodoro; as well as Iberian-inspired flavors centered around the Cinco Jotas, or a generous platter of seasonal vegetables.

4. Le Jules Verne | The Most Gourmet

Since 2019, Chef Frédéric Anton (a three-Michelin-starred chef at Le Pré Catelan) has been at the helm of this Michelin-starred restaurant in the Eiffel Tower. Of course, the setting is breathtaking, but the cuisine is just as impressive. Whether you come for lunch or dinner, you’re in for a treat. Chef Anton’s cuisine is refined and focused on the beauty of the ingredients, as exemplified by this free-range chicken poached in miso, served with mushrooms, eggplant, and a rich sauce. Of course, you have to book months in advance and the cost is high, but what wouldn’t we do to live a little dream?

5. Balcon | On the roof of Galeries Lafayette

We’re heading up to the rooftop of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, which has just opened. Here, the iconoclastic chef Julien Sebbag has opened his bistro, Balcon, taking the place of Créatures (an eco-friendly, 100% vegetarian pop-up restaurant that the chef ran for the past five years). The atmosphere is very laid-back, with a spacious rooftop terrace and a zinc and wrought-iron railing. On the menu at this restaurant with a view of the Eiffel Tower: eggs with black garlic mayonnaise, scallions, and arugula; leeks with tarragon vinaigrette and hazelnuts; truffle-flavored coquillettes; or even beef bourguignon… Julien Sebbag showcases the full power of regional flavors: aioli, beurre blanc, truffles, capers, and black pepper. Partly in the whirlwind of Paris, partly in the rhythm of a vacation, partly on top of the world.

6. Les Ombres | The Best Place for a Cocktail Break

What could be more enjoyable than working up an appetite while strolling through an exhibition at the Quai Branly Museum, before sitting down to a meal at a restaurant with a view of the Eiffel Tower? Chef Alain Ducasse has entrusted Alexandre Sempere with the kitchen to serve up his inventive, indulgent creations that highlight the finest ingredients. French regional cuisine infused with Mediterranean touches and served under the glass roof of the museum’s rooftop terrace: that’s what you’ll find here.

7. Corail | The Most Seaside-Inspired

At MOMA Group, Chef Gauthier Hecquet creates dishes that are right on trend and redolent of the sea, as if you were dining right by the water’s edge: Mediterranean-inspired, primarily seafood-based, and strictly seasonal.

Taramas, calamari, cod, and yellowtail sashimi—it’s all there, reimagined Hecquet-style. And it works well. While the restaurant, located within the Museum of Modern Art, is described as “a brutalist haven,” the large terrace on the plaza facing the Eiffel Tower offers a magnificent sunset.

8. Les Marches | The Most Fun

Let’s get this out of the way right away: even though we’re practically at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, it’s not the view of the monument we’re here for, but rather a monument to traditional French cuisine—the truck stop. Because, as the saying goes: “A stop at a truck stop guarantees a good, inexpensive meal.” And it’s also a trip back in time, to a Paris of bistros with checkered tablecloths, classic dishes, and smooth, easy-drinking red wines. A true Parisian delight, for locals and well-informed travelers alike.

9. Monsieur Bleu | At the Palais de Tokyo

A winter-themed igloo-style bubble that transforms into a large summer terrace as soon as the warm weather arrives... Located in the west wing of the Palais de Tokyo, not far from the Seine and across from the Eiffel Tower, the restaurant Monsieur Bleu boasts one of the most beautiful terraces in Paris. It was designed by architect Joseph Dirand for private or business lunches, featuring classic French cuisine with a modern twist. From Burgundy snails and duck foie gras terrine to beef tartare and truffle tagliatelle, dishes are also available in portions designed for two, such as free-range chicken roasted in its own juices or with morel mushrooms, or sole, served grilled or meunière-style.

10. La Suite Paris Suite (LSG) | At the Cité de l’Architecture

It was one of the capital’s best-kept secrets… On the 9th floor of the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine stood the former curator’s apartment, whose private terrace offered a panoramic view of all of Paris. Now known as La Suite—LSG to those in the know—the restaurant offers a“seahouse” experience with a capital-city twist, featuring seafood cuisine that includes shellfish, raw or cooked fish, crispy shrimp to share, langoustine ravioli, and sea bass carpaccio. Just like at a coastal restaurant, the fish are served whole, depending on the day’s catch.
