2. Royal Champagne Hôtel & Spa | One of France's finest spas in the heart of the Champagne region

5. Les Hauts de Loire | 4-star hotel and spa in the Loire Valley (1h30 by TGV, 2h30 by car)

What's the spa like? Located in an attractive adjoining building, the spa has been entirely designed by Clarins. 6. Fleur de Loire | 5-star hotel and gourmet restaurant in the Loire Valley, 2h45 from Paris by car

What's the spa like? 10. Le Domaine des Vanneaux Hotel Golf & Spa, Presles

What is the spa like? Nestled in lush green surroundings, its 250m^² of space provide a soothing experience. Facilities include a jacuzzi with views of the Isle Adam golf course (which can be privatized on request), a sauna, a hammam, a heated outdoor pool (15x10 m, open in season) and three treatment rooms. Therapists offer Cinq Mondes facial and body treatments. The signature treatment is Vol au-dessus du green, a massage with organic hot oil that combines the fluid movements of Lomi Lomi, the enveloping gestures of Californian massage, and yogic maneuvers. 

And the hotel? Forty minutes from the capital, in the heart of the renowned 18-hole Oise Valley golf course, this MGallery spa hotel near Paris resembles a contemporary farmhouse. Architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte has designed spectacular common areas that contrast with the austerity of the 65 rooms and suites. 11. Les Étangs de Corot, Ville d’Avray

What is the spa like? Named Les Bains de Corot, this bucolic haven offers a bath of greenery. In addition to an outdoor jacuzzi, there are three private lounges with whirlpool baths under straw huts. These 19th-century listed buildings provide the setting for Bulles packages for couples (with or without champagne, with or without massage). In the eight cabins overlooking the ponds, treatments are provided by partner brands: Kos PARIS, with cosmetics featuring plant-based active ingredients and rich textures, and Phytomer, with the benefits of Breton marine biology.
