2. Le Grand Mazarin, the new Parisian hotel in the heart of Le Marais district
The hotel? On the corner of rue de la Verrerie and rue des Archives, the Maisons Pariente collection (Crillon Le Brave, Lou Pinet, Le Coucou Méribel) has opened its first Parisian hotel, Le Grand Mazarin, in the heart of the Marais district, in May 2023. Located in a historic building just opposite the BHV and the Hôtel de Ville, the 5-star hotel features 50 rooms and 11 suites, a restaurant, a bar and even a swimming pool, a rare feature in the district. Le Grand Mazarin's design was entrusted to Swedish interior architect Martin Brudnizki (Four Seasons Astir Palace in Athens, Les Jardins de Presbourg and Le Chardenoux in Paris) known for his style that combines French classicism and modernity with fanciful touches.
The rooms? Martin Brudnizki's London design studio has created unique environments inspired by Grand Siècle classicism. The décor, bathed in natural light, places comfort and intimacy on a pedestal. The interior designer called on the craftsmanship of companies with the "Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant" label to create this tribute to the tradition of French decorative arts. Each of the rooms and suites offers an interlude of calm in one of Paris's most vibrant historic districts.
What makes the difference? The 5-star hotel, inspired by literary and aristocratic circles, reflects the soul of the district and meets all the criteria for a unique stay in Paris: a festive restaurant with continuous service, a dazzling bar, one of the Marais's rare swimming pools and an excellent service.

3. Boudoir des Muses
Located on rue de Saintonge, Boudoir des Muses is, behind its discreet doors, a theater of contrasts inspired by the world of literary salons and 19th-century aesthetes. It is said to have been a former convent transformed into a brothel before being closed by Napoleon for “loose morals”. Today, the place is reborn in an atmosphere where freedom and sensuality reign supreme. The main salon, bathed in light thanks to a majestic cupola, transforms at nightfall into an intimate cabaret, offering evenings as surprising as they are bewitching, between erotic readings and tarot card readings. Beneath the atrium, the bathing salons, 2 small private spas named Vénus and Hédoné, offer a moment of total abandon in a decor of rough stone and well-being. The 28 rooms, sober and luminous, contrast with the extravagance of the common areas, playing on a fascinating duality.
