The most beautiful hotels in Luberon: our best addresses
Here’s our selection of the best hotels in the Luberon, from luxurious bastides and luxury resorts to Provencal farmhouses planted in the garrigue and addresses perched in the heart of the emblematic villages of this famous corner of Provence.

The Luberon region, ideal for relaxing but also for sporting or gastronomic getaways, is brimming with hotels and other charming addresses. Here’s a selection.
1. La Bastide de Marie, 5-star hotel in the Luberon
La Bastide de Marie, a 5-star hotel in the Luberon region located in Ménerbes, near the picturesque villages of Bonnieux and Gordes, is a charming residence nestled in the heart of the garrigue. This Provençal stone farmhouse, with its tiled roof, is surrounded by 23 hectares of vineyards, cypress trees, and lavender fields—an idyllic setting for a romantic getaway in Provence.
La Bastide de Marie offers 12 rooms, including 8 suites, all designed with a quintessential Provençal spirit: antique furniture, natural materials, and the inimitable patina that is the hallmark of Maisons Sibuet (also present in Megève, Saint-Tropez, and Saint-Barth').

The Classic Room, 25 m² overlooking the patio, features a honey-orange palette, with a sloping ceiling and a bathroom with a bathtub. The Bastide Room, also 25 m² and opening onto the vineyards or the patio, offers shades of mauve aster, Nîmes blue, vanilla, or lime green, with an open or separate bathroom, bathtub, and shower. The Marie Suite, 45 to 50 m², opens onto the vineyards or gardens and combines a bedroom and a sitting area that can accommodate two children. The colors vary depending on the chosen theme, from sage gray to anise green or ivory white. The bathroom includes a bathtub, while the shower and toilet are separate. The more spacious Family Suite offers 67 m² on the garden level, with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a living room, and a terrace opening directly onto the gardens, as well as a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower room.

At the table, chef François Martin, with experience in prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants, meticulously crafts his cuisine every day. At dawn, he visits the market, selects his ingredients, and composes dishes that change with the seasons. The herbs and heirloom vegetables grown using permaculture on the estate bring bold flavors, inspired by the earthy and warm Mediterranean. The menu features dishes such as matured beef fillet of exceptional tenderness, melt-in-your-mouth black pork from Ventoux, and John Dory subtly flavored with bay leaf. Everything is fresh, carefully prepared, and thoughtfully considered.
Some evenings, dinner is served in the large greenhouse, under a sky turning pink behind the vines. Lantern light dances on the pergola crafted by a local blacksmith. When the air turns cool, guests move to the Dining Room: a chic yet rustic haven, furnished with pieces found in nearby antique shops. Tables set with beige linen and delicate tableware create a scene that will charm those who appreciate the unpretentious Provençal way of life.
To further enhance the atmosphere of the house, the team also prepares picnic baskets to be enjoyed at a stone table nestled in the heart of the garrigue, somewhere between pine trees, bright sunlight, and a serene, mineral silence.
La Bastide is just steps from the Domaine de Marie winery, where guests can discover local wines, visit the cellars, and participate in the grape harvest in September. A truly unique wine experience. Also worth exploring is an incredible vegetable garden, a herb garden, and a working farm.

The spa at La Bastide de Marie offers treatments inspired by the benefits of Provençal nature, using products made from local plants and flowers. The facilities include a treatment room dedicated to Pure Altitude signature rituals, a heated pool on the patio side, and a second pool in the garden for soaking up the Provençal sun.

2. Hôtel Capelongue, Bonnieux | A Provencal jewel in the heart of the Luberon
How is the hotel? In the Vaucluse hinterland, perched high above Bonnieux, Domaine de Capelongue has recently joined the Beaumier group. With 57 rooms and suites designed by architects JAUNE - divided between the sheepfold, the 18th-century bastide and the dovecote - the 5-hectare estate is distinguished by its typical hinterland charm: rendered walls, tiled floors, ochre colors, warm woodwork and, of course, unobstructed views from the terraces and balconies. The silence of the hamlet is broken only by the sound of the Mistral wind and the song of the cicadas. Recently enlarged, the vacation village-like hotel now boasts a charming central square, a fountain, a library and a café, bringing together guests in search of conviviality.
Gastronomy? The Domaine de Capelongue offers two restaurants committed to respecting the environment. La Bastide, which boasts one Michelin star, is orchestrated by chefs Noël Bérard et Mathieu Guivarch, who delivers deep, spontaneous, local gastronomic cuisine, such as grilled green Mallemort asparagus or marinated sliced Luberon veal. La Bergerie, wood-fired Provencal restaurant, has been refurbished and enlarged, with an open-plan dining room and terrace overlooking Bonnieux. Finally, at Café Capelongue, the afternoon is filled with small plates to share or not: zucchini flower fritters, crispy panisse and aioli...

Wellness? Guests can take advantage of a swimming pool, swim lane, Roman bath, cryogenic bath and Biologique Recherche's made-to-measure treatment menu, a temple to well-being that also includes a fitness center, hammam, 3 treatment rooms and a fitness room.
