The hotel? Less than two hours from Paris, Loire Valley Lodges is set in 300 hectares of forest and meadows. Here, each lodge cultivates its own identity, imagined by contemporary artists. The rooms? These wooden ecolodges, perched on stilts four meters above sea level, are veritable cocoons. Each room has its own identity, with raw wood, enveloping textiles and plant-based hues. 5. La Borde en Sologne | A family castle in a preserved area

The hotel? In Vernou-en-Sologne, in the midst of 40 hectares of vegetation, this red-brick and slate château, built in the middle of the XVIIIᵉ century, seems to sit facing a long mirror of water. Carefully restored, the La Borde mansion has regained its lustre without losing any of its soul.
