Want to celebrate Valentine’s Day in style? Here’s our selection of the best hotels, bars and spas for a successful Valentine’s Day, in the city of love… but not only.

1. In Grand siècle mode

Where? Is the most regal of romantic getaways just a few miles from Paris? Head for Versailles, to Le Grand Contrôle, one of the best hotels for a Valentine's Day getaway.

Valentine's Day 2026: On the evening of February 14, lovers join the historic salons for a feast imagined by Alain Ducasse. The refined dinner is served by candlelight and accompanied by live music. In collaboration with Mellerio, the court's historic jeweller, a piece of jewelry will be raffled off to one of the couples present. At the hotel, the lovebirds will be treated to a personal butler service, a tea time inspired by Marie-Antoinette, and access to the spa. They also enjoy access to the Orangerie garden, an exclusive tour of the Château de Versailles (in the evening after closing to the public) and the Domaine de Trianon, and the use of a golf cart to explore the gardens in complete freedom.

2. In spa mode

Where? Nestled in the hills above Issy-les-Moulineaux, a spa hotel near Paris set in a 17th-century country house surrounded by terraced gardens.

Valentine's Day offer: The spa is at the heart of the experience: a floral setting punctuated with roses and candles, and an unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower make up the decor. Duos are invited to book a signature treatment in a double cabin, complemented by an exclusive mocktail - the Romantic Chronicles- with notes of coconut, almond and white chocolate. Access to the spa's facilities extends the parenthesis: hammam, sauna, indoor pool and fitness room, all open onto a green environment conducive to calm and disconnection.

The evening can continue in the restaurant with a dinner specially designed for the occasion. A must: the rum bar in the estate's former chapel. Under restored vaulted ceilings and preserved stained-glass windows, the desacralized space has been converted into an intimate tasting room, dedicated to rums of character.

Where? In boutique hotels in Paris and Mama Shelter in France.

mama Shelter

The Valentine's Day offer: Mama Shelter dusts off Valentine's Day to make it a more open and frankly festive occasion. Lovers, friends, singles or groups of friends: with its Mama's Love Game, a program running from February 2 to 15, Mama Shelter is not just for couples, but for all those who want to go out, dine and share a lively evening, with friends or alone. For two weeks, the restaurant will be setting a festive mood with a menu featuring Mexican accents, a soul and pop soundtrack and fun activities such as tarot readings and fortune-telling sessions. A far cry from a candlelit dinner! The experience doesn't end with the evening: guests staying at the hotel during this period leave with a Sexy Mama Box, slipped into their room and containing, among other things, the Mama's Love Game card game.

4. In palace mode

Where: The Peninsula Paris, the palace on Avenue Kléber.

Valentine's Day offer: the 5-star hotel near the Champs-Elysées does what it does best: fine dining, an exceptional spa and tailor-made experiences. At the table, lovebirds can enjoy a hushed tea time in the Lobby's refined cuisine, then extend the evening with a signature Jasmin Kiss cocktail in the Bar Kléber. For those aiming for the exceptional, head for the sixth floor: three heated winter bubbles on the terraces host gourmet dinners imagined by Michelin-starred chef David Bizet. And to round off the evening, a night drive around Paris in a 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II, of which only ten remain in the world.
