The Best Hotels for Planning a Wedding

The first question people ask themselves when planning a wedding is often about the venue. Finding a place that brings everyone together, accommodates the guests, and allows the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to flow seamlessly without having to transport a hundred people from one end of the city to the other… From Mallorca to Sardinia to the French Riviera, here are five hotels capable of handling your celebration from start to finish and turning your wedding into a true travel experience.

1. Palais de la Méditerranée | The Best Hotel for a Wedding on the French Riviera

Where? On the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, seven kilometers from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport and a fifteen-minute drive from the train station. Unbeatable accessibility for guests coming from all over Europe, and a location that’s easy to spot from afar thanks to its listed Art Deco façade—an iconic landmark on the Promenade des Anglais since 1929. Reopening on June 4, 2026.

Capacity? Up to 936 guests in the Salon Riviera at this luxury hotel in Nice—the city’s largest reception hall, featuring high ceilings, a built-in stage, and private dressing rooms. The Salon Azur, which can be divided into two separate spaces, can accommodate up to 350 people with a panoramic view of the Mediterranean. For more intimate receptions, the Premium suites can be transformed into meeting or celebration spaces overlooking the Baie des Anges.

The style? An Art Deco architectural heritage, with its geometric lines and period ornamentation, blended with the bright and festive atmosphere of the Côte d’Azur in its heyday. Designer Linda Boronkay has reinterpreted the 1930s style with a palette of pastel shades—greens, blues, and yellows—curved lines, light wood, graphic-patterned rugs, and ocean liner-style bathrooms with mint green and chrome fixtures.

What makes it ideal for a wedding? The Zouzou Riviera restaurant and terrace, along with its bar, foster a festive and relaxed atmosphere. 173 rooms and suites to accommodate guests on-site, including 82 with ocean views and several suites with private terraces up to 67 m², ideal for the bridal suite. 3. Zoëtry Mallorca | A charming wedding in the heart of a historic estate

Where? In the countryside of Llucmajor, on the island of Mallorca, 15 minutes from Palma Airport and 25 minutes from downtown. Remarkably accessible for a rural estate, with direct flights to Palma from most European capitals during the season.

Capacity? The Marquee, the hotel’s largest venue in Mallorca, can accommodate up to 350 guests for a cocktail reception and 200 for a banquet. Les Ses Bóvedes, former 19th-century vaulted cellars converted into a reception hall, can accommodate up to 110 guests for a gala dinner. La Gran Cristiana Chapel can accommodate 120 people indoors and 200 outdoors for the ceremony.

The style? Rustic Mediterranean chic. The Sa Torre estate dates back to the 14th century and retains several historic features, including the neo-Gothic chapel, the 15th-century windmill, the inner courtyard surrounded by vineyards, the stone arcades, and the exposed beams in the suites. The 56,000 m² of gardens create a natural setting that stands on its own, without needing to compensate with overly elaborate decor. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful hotels in the Balearic Islands for a wedding.

What makes it ideal for a wedding? The Zoëtry Mallorca is one of the few venues in our selection to offer an authentic chapel for the ceremony—unconsecrated and therefore open to all types of unions—with its colorful stained-glass windows and Gothic vaults. The entire estate can be reserved exclusively, with its 101 rooms and suites to accommodate all guests on-site.

Chef Andreu Genestra, a Michelin-starred chef with a Green Star, crafts the cuisine using produce from the estate’s organic garden—including Ramellet tomatoes, eggplants, figs, and local herbs—to create a dining experience that truly captures the essence of the island. Guests can also enjoy the Pure Spa, featuring a heated pool, a hammam, and eucalyptus-scented sensory showers, as well as excursions on a traditional llaüt to explore Mallorca’s calas.

4. Park Hyatt Marrakech | An Exceptional Wedding at an Estate Overlooking the Atlas Mountains

Where? Fifteen kilometers from the historic center of Marrakech and the airport, within the Al Maaden golf resort, accessible via a private road lined with lemon trees and jacarandas. Its distance from the medina is precisely what makes this location so appealing for a wedding: a secluded and peaceful estate, with the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains as a backdrop.

Capacity? The 1,000 m² Meeting Residence features seven private rooms, a foyer, and a patio that can accommodate up to 120 guests for a reception. The adjacent outdoor terrace can accommodate up to 80 guests for a banquet. For larger weddings, the Pavillon Terrace & Pool restaurant can accommodate up to 300 people standing, overlooking the three pools and the Atlas Mountains.

The style? A contemporary Arab-Berber aesthetic. Marrakesh-based designer Imaad Rahmouni arranged the 16 pavilions around a central zellige patio, drawing inspiration from the vernacular architecture of the douars. The Berber triangle serves as the guiding motif on the floors of black Khénifra marble and pink Saharan marble, the mashrabiya screens create a play of light and shadow, and more than 700 works of art created exclusively by artists from Morocco, Senegal, Benin, Italy, and Japan adorn every space. In the guest rooms, the headboards feature the tataoui technique—the traditional wickerwork of laurel branches found on Moroccan ceilings.

What makes it ideal for a wedding? The outdoor spaces at this luxury hotel in Marrakech are particularly well-designed: the Patio and its terrace for cocktail receptions, the Terrace Cheminée for more intimate evenings, and the Pavillon Terrace & Pool with its pergolas shaded by bougainvillea for al fresco dining. The 130 rooms and suites, all featuring a private terrace and ranging from 55 m² in size, provide on-site accommodations for guests in a residential, lush setting. For the bride and groom, the Duplex Suites—spanning multiple levels with a private pool and hammam—offer an exceptional retreat.

On the culinary front, Chef Issam Rhachi and his pastry chef, Oussama Sadiq, create custom menus that blend classic Moroccan traditions with contemporary influences, including the design of the wedding cake. And for guests extending their stay, the 2,200 m² spa—featuring an indoor pool beneath a vaulted ceiling, a hammam, and ten treatment rooms—as well as exclusive access to the 18-hole Al Maaden golf course—offer plenty of pleasant ways to spend the days leading up to or following the ceremony.

For daytime ceremonies, the Balcony Room opens onto Diagonal Avenue and features natural light, accommodating up to 100 guests. The Maymanta restaurant on the 19th floor, with its panoramic view of Barcelona and Peruvian cuisine created by Chef Omar Malpartida, can accommodate up to 350 guests for a gala dinner high above the city. For pre-wedding preparations, the 1,000 m² Oasis Wellness & Spa by Natura Bissé offers beauty treatments designed for brides-to-be.
