The most beautiful hotels with family suites in Paris

How do you turn a family getaway into an unforgettable memory? Yonder has selected the finest Parisian hotels with family suites, those that have mastered the art of welcoming young and old in spacious, well-designed and perfectly located spaces.

1. Fouquet's Paris: the best place to book a family suite in Paris

Once upon a time... How many stars have crossed the threshold of the legendary Fouquet's since its creation in 1898? An unmissable venue for lunches and dinners for the cinematic elite of Paris, the Champs-Élysées restaurant is inseparable from its gold-lettered garance awning, and in 2006 gave birth to an adjoining hotel: Fouquet's Paris. To give this exceptional establishment a Haussmann-style facade, architect Édouard François devised a totally new process, whose ingenuity is matched only by its virtuosity. These words could also be applied to the interior design, entrusted to the master of the genre Jacques Garcia, who plays on the counterpoint between the voluntarily baroque common areas and the sobriety of the rooms and suites. An authentic ode to French comfort, the hotel boasts a signature scent (Fugue à Paris) and a 750 m² Decorté spa with heated pool.

Rooms: volume, light and softness... Jacques Garcia seems to have worked with the elements and sensations to design the rooms and family suites at Fouquet's Paris. Light, beige and golden tones are complemented by the use of noble materials. We love this timeless elegance, which escapes conformism thanks to huge quilted headboards, the decorator's warm, contemporary touch. And let's not forget the breathtaking view of the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe

The family: Fouquet's Paris offers families a 50% discount on the second connecting room for children under 12, and free access to the Spa (subject to conditions and availability).

Favourite : If its location a stone's throw from "the most beautiful avenue in the world" wasn't already a decisive advantage, Le Fouquet's Paris also boasts a marvellous hanging-garden rooftop.

2. The Peninsula Paris: a palace in Paris

Once upon a time... Once called the Majestic, this Art Nouveau palace in Paris is one of the jewels illuminating the area around Place de l'Étoile. Listed as a historic monument, The Peninsula Paris underwent a colossal renovation in 2014, restoring its most famous features, starting with its gilded limestone façade. Restored to its former glory, the building of a thousand lives does not succumb to the gentle embrace of nostalgia: it adapts to the evolution of time and integrates into its new avatar a glass roof as monumental as its entrance door, as well as a chandelier formed of 800 crystal leaves illuminating the lobby. Simply magical.

Rooms : Spacious and bright, the family rooms and suites take the concept of comfort to a new level of excellence. We love the south-facing aspect of the Junior Suites; we also appreciate the luxurious elegance of the marble bathrooms and the intuitive simplicity of the digital control panel that centralizes all commands. The result is an ineffable sense of being elsewhere, yet at home. Isn't that the sign that you belong?

The family: The "Un Moment en Famille" offer includes a 50% discount on a connecting room for children aged 12 and under, as well as (among other things) American breakfasts for the whole family at Le Lobby restaurant and access to the hotel swimming pool (subject to conditions and availability).

Favorite: Who wouldn't want to share the gourmet secrets of The Peninsula Paris pastry chef Anne Coruble? Only by reservation, this workshop, open to children aged 6 and over, takes place every first Wednesday of the month and culminates in one of the palace's not-to-be-missed events: l'Heure du Thé (tea time) in the Lobby restaurant for a tasting session.

3. Brach: made for hype

Once upon a time... a luxury hotel group that liked nothing more than to shake up convention, Evok Collection gave carte blanche to one of the world's most prolific, creative and transgressive designers to dress the 7,000 m² of its Parisian Brach: Philippe Starck. Under his signature, the result lives up to expectations, with an astonishing synthesis of artistic influences and cultures to deliver a cocoon like no other: as chic and warm as an English club, as unusual as the lair of an eclectic collector. Just the thing to liven up the 16th arrondissement.

The rooms: The spirit of the Brach's singularity extends to the rooms, which might look like they've been borrowed from the modernized wing of a country manor house. Indeed, it's hard to believe you're in the heart of Paris when you're enveloped by the amber tones of rosewood and the warm light filtering through fluted glass. Trinkets, picture frames and motley objets d'art add the finishing touch to the personality of the premises... which you'll be hard-pressed to leave to access the sports club or swimming pools.

The family: some superior rooms can be connected to a Deluxe room or suite to create a beautiful family suite.

Favorite: From May to September, the rooftop Potager on the 7th floor is a wonderful inclusion of nature in the heart of Paris, where workshops introduce children to gardening. All year round, the terrace on the 1st floor is the ideal spot to relax and enjoy the Asian-style dishes concocted by Adam Bentalha.

4. Sax Paris: central again

Once upon a time... Opening in the spring of 2025, Sax Paris is the first French hotel in the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand, a collection of luxury Hilton Group establishments that select buildings with an atypical soul in exceptional destinations. Sax Paris is the perfect example: who would have guessed that this neo-Gothic building on the Left Bank once housed the Ségur telephone exchange? Sumptuously transformed thanks to the inspired talent of numerous artists and designers led by Karine Journo, Sax Paris reinterprets the Parisian spirit, that mix of refinement and whimsical audacity, in a faultless contemporary version. It even houses an urban oasis (designed by Studio Ravn) in reference to French gardens, complete with outdoor pool and Jacuzzi.

The rooms: A contemporary design option for the rooms and suites, tastefully equipped without superfluous ornamentation. Natural materials, wood panelling, marble in the bathroom... are complemented by a splendid use of light, warm and enveloping, whose circulation is skilfully organized thanks to a play of occultations (curtains, Venetian blinds...) and reflections obtained by large mirrors. Timeless chic in XXL versions in the suites. It's worth noting that some floors feature terraces with a breathtaking view of Paris.

The family: Enabling parents to retain their privacy and children to enjoy their stay, notably by playing in the teepee set up for them, the connecting rooms are perfect for families. As for the selection of Bon Marché delicatessen products on offer, they're sure to please everyone!

Favorite: the Japanese restaurant Kinugawa, with its exquisite dishes and view of the Eiffel Tower.

5. Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opéra: from 7th Art to 7th Heaven

Once upon a time... This hotel near the Opéra is, in many ways, an establishment etched in the marble of eternity. Built in 1861, it was home to the Jockey Club and 130 years ago to the very first screenings of the Lumière brothers' Cinématographe. This historic building has been reinvented for 2019, thanks to a redesign by Wilson Associates, Atelier Tristan Auer, which in no way detracts from the building's heritage: the superb Haussmann architecture has even been enhanced with an elegant touch of modernity.

The rooms: luxury without ostentation and excellence as a matter of course. At Le Scribe, refinement and comfort seem to be part of the DNA of each room or family suite; and taste is as reliable as the efficiency of the 24-hour service. Here's a closer look at the Junior Suite Duplex, well worth the detour...to say the least! Spread over two levels, Le Scribe's signature apartment offers a bedroom and a convertible living room on the second floor. It's like having a Parisian pied-à-terre, with a fireplace and a view of the Grands Boulevards to boot..

The family: the "Escapade Famille" offer includes, on reservation, 50% off a second nearby or connecting room for children, special services for children as part of the Sofitel Kid program, and free breakfast for children under 16 (subject to conditions and availability).

Special highlight: Sunday brunch at Rivages, the hotel's restaurant, with a menu designed by Martin Simolka and featuring compositions by mixologist Roberto Catalano.
