The most beautiful apartments for rent in Paris

Opposite the Île Saint-Louis, in the Marais or near the Opéra Garnier, discover a selection of rare apartments for rent in Paris for a stay in the capital.

1. La Tour d'Argent | L'Appartement, the ultimate immersive experience facing Île Saint-Louis

Recently revamped, La Tour d'Argent, the legendary Parisian gastronomic institution founded in 1582 and awarded a Michelin star, is creating a surprise with the inauguration of an ultimate experience on the 5th floor: L'Appartement Augusta. Perched just below the famous restaurant, on the corner of Quai de la Tournelle and Rue du Cardinal Lemoine, this exclusive 150 m² refuge combines luxury, intimacy and history. Designed by architect Franklin Azzi, it is inspired by the refinement of Augusta Burdel, grandmother of André Terrail, president of La Tour d'Argent, and reveals a décor as elegant as it is singular: Haussmann moldings, herringbone parquet flooring, touches of Scandinavian design and contemporary works of art. The hushed atmosphere is adorned with precious materials, from the bespoke Tréca bed to Baccarat crockery, while the sauna overlooking Notre-Dame adds a touch of exclusivity to this exceptional suite.

The experience begins as soon as guests are picked up by a chauffeur in a DS 9 bearing La Tour d'Argent logo, who transfers them from the airport, train station or home. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by Nejma, a dedicated hostess, who hands out access badges before opening the doors to a light-filled apartment. Upon entering, the eye is immediately drawn to a spectacular bow window offering a breathtaking view of the Seine, Ile Saint-Louis and Notre-Dame Cathedral. The warm, contemporary living room is punctuated by works by Maximilien Pellet and Bernard Cathelin, while the lounge is organized around a large sofa, ideal for contemplation. On the right, the bedroom hypnotizes with its cozy bed framed by a window revealing Paul Landowski's monumental statue of Sainte-Geneviève. Just behind, the bathroom reveals a surprise: a glass sauna, offering a unique perspective on the Parisian landscape.

There are two ways to make the place your own: simple use of the apartment with breakfast at the Bar des Maillets d'Argent, or full immersion including gourmet lunch, overnight stay, return transfer and exclusive experiences. These include a cooking class with chef Yannick Franques, a private tasting in the legendary cellar or an exceptional six-course dinner in the Michelin-starred restaurant on the 6th floor. Here, the ballet of Maîtres d'hôtel in tails perpetuates the heritage of the great art of entertaining, while the Michelin-starred chef's cuisine boldly reinterprets tradition: autumn porcini in consommé, pike-perch quenelle, filet of sole Sully and duck à la royale or "Clovis", a nod to the reconstruction of Notre-Dame.
