2. Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort
The setting? In the south-west of the island, in the heart of Domaine de Bel Ombre, this 5-star hotel, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, stands on the sugar estate of Irish botanist Charles Telfair. The colonial architecture of this golf hotel in Mauritius is reminiscent of the great planters' houses.
