3. Hôtel Les Cures Marines, Trouville
The pitch? On the other side of the bridge, the neo-classical right wing of the Trouville-sur-Mer casino, which was once a museum and spa before a long slumber, has since 2015 been home to a 5-star hotel redesigned by Jean-Philippe Nuel. This establishment is operated under the Accor group's MGallery banner and includes a thalassotherapy center.
What's the hotel like? Facing the sea, the majestic building boasts cream and cloud-gray tones, while inside, vintage photos and stripes are in abundance (a nod to the beach cabins of the 1920s). The 97 rooms and 6 suites are adorned with paintings evoking ancient frescoes, mother-of-pearl chandeliers and white and blue cameos echoing the marine environment. The pitch? Tucked away in a little Trouville alley, a stone's throw from the town center, this traditional residence boasts typical Neo-Norman architecture, with its half-timbered facade. This charming 4-star hotel is part of the Best Western Plus collection.
What's the hotel like? This authentic haven of peace boasts 62 renovated rooms in warm chocolate and red tones, or more designer shades of parma and gray. What's the hotel like? 6. Les Manoirs de Tourgéville, spa hotel in Deauville
The pitch? This 4-star Normandy hotel, formerly owned by Claude Lelouch and built in 1978, was intended as the setting for the film L'Hôtel, which was never shot. Once an artists' residence, it was bought in 2010 by the Floirat group, owners of the 5-star Le Byblos palace in Saint-Tropez, and La Réserve in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, overlooking the ocean in the Basque country. What's the spa like?
