Château La Coste presents its new sister inn
Château La Coste, a luxury hotel in Provence renowned for its contemporary art collection, unveils the Auberge La Coste on its estate, a new 76-room living space that combines authenticity and serenity in the heart of the vineyards of the Aix region. Visit in pictures.
Three key facts about Auberge La Coste
- Set in 200 hectares of sunny countryside in the south of France south of France - on the grounds of the Domaine de Château La Coste Art and Architecture trail - the Auberge La Coste embodies the very essence of the traditional auberge. Its light ochre facades, cobbled streets, hand-crafted lighting fixtures and unbleached stone walls evoke an authentic, timeless charm. A few steps away, an old oak tree has been transformed into a work of art by Hanoi-born artist Tia Thuy Nguyen. Adorned with steel leaves and quartz flowers to bring it back to life, the tree weaves a harmonious link between the hotel, the Art and Architecture trail, the futuristic winery and the farmland of the palace-class estate in Provence.
- The inn's 76 rooms, bathed in light and immaculate white, offer refined comfort worthy of the finest hotels in Provence, with luxury bedding and linen. The interior design is both elegant and functional: whitewashed wood furniture seems to carry within it the stories of the passing of time, the windows are adorned with beautiful fabrics, while a blond wood parquet floor illuminates the space. In the bathrooms, every detail has been meticulously considered, from the ergonomic faucets to the eco-responsible courtesy products, testifying to a deep commitment to the well-being of guests and respect for the environment.
- At Auberge La Coste, gastronomy is an experience in its own right, sublimated by two addresses: La Rôtisserie and Le Bar. La Rôtisserie stands out for its art of entertaining and its generous menu - just like a family meal - featuring seasonal dishes and local produce. The Bar, on the other hand, boasts a retro ambience, red leather seats and an illuminated counter. In addition to the restaurants, guests are invited to visit the estate's vineyards, where the region's emblematic grape varieties flourish, discover the winery designed by Jean Nouvel and admire the contemporary works of art scattered around the estate.
