Villa Miraé: a dazzling renaissance on Cap d’Antibes
A long-standing member of Relais & Châteaux on the Côte d’Azur, the Impérial Garoupe is enjoying a new lease of life under the name of Villa Miraé. Acquired in 2023 by Inwood Hotels, this legendary Cap d’Antibes address will reopen its doors in spring 2025, following a metamorphosis orchestrated by Oscar Lucien Ono. An ambitious project that ushers this oasis into a new era.
Villa Miraé, 3 key points to remember
- Conceived as a slice of paradise in one of the French Riviera's most sought-after locations, Villa Miraé offers a setting where powder-pink Provencal architecture blends with lush Mediterranean gardens on Cap d'Antibes. The swimming pool, the centerpiece of the estate, invites you to la dolce vita, as the water merges with the azure sky and plunges you into a daydream. We also appreciate the solarium overlooking the sea, a few meters below.
- The hotel, member of Relais & Châteaux, houses 35 rooms and 8 suites, the most luxurious of which boasts a beautiful view of the pool. This refined universe was designed by architect and designer Oscar Lucien Ono (Maison Numéro 20). With noble materials such as carved wood, Burgundy stone, linen, Murano glass and the frescoes and mosaics that adorn the rooms, Oscar Lucien Ono has created a poetic and elegant atmosphere for the villa. Shades of sun-kissed gold and sea-blue add to this gentle seafaring voyage.
- Villa Miraé celebrates the art of the table with two exceptional restaurants under the aegis of three-starred chef Maura Colagreco. Amarines offers gourmet cuisine with a Mediterranean twist, using fresh, local produce such as vegetables from the coast and the hills around Nice. Miraé, meanwhile, pays tribute to the specialties of the Franco-Italian Riviera, sublimated by a contemporary and responsible approach. The highlight? A splendid terrace overlooking the emerald reflections of the swimming pool.
