Between the Place des Vosges, the Notre-Dame district, the Marais and the Ile Saint-Louis, old Paris is home to discreet, elegant hotels. Our selection of the best luxury and charming hotels in Paris’s 4th arrondissement.

1. Cour des Vosges

Located on Place des Vosges in Paris 4, this 5-star hotel in Paris is a member of the EVOK collection (hotels Brach, Sinner and Nolinski in Paris, editor's note). Housed in the Hôtel de Montbrun - built in the 17th-century and classified as a historical monument since 1954 - Cour des Vosges was conceived as a "luxury guest house" in the center of Paris. Its 6 spacious rooms and 6 suites offer a view of Square Louis XIII and modern four-poster beds. From the fourth floor, a spiral staircase leads to two rooms nestling under the roofs, more modest in size, but embellished by exposed beams and roof timbers. The secret, listed hotel also boasts a tea room, a terrace shaded by arcades and a "Roman bath", one of the most unique and historic spas in Paris.
