What's the hotel like? With a total of 25 rooms, the 19th-century Anglo-Norman-style property is surrounded by an English-style park and divided into three buildings: Le Donjon, La Villa and Le Cottage. Local artist Jean Charles de Castelbajac has designed a fresco in the dining room of the hotel with spa in Normandy, which has made the original choice of naming each room after a personality who left their mark on the history of the region: Pierre Loti, Claude Monet, Gustave Flaubert, Proust... Le Bistrot, the second table of the hotel in Normandy, has a more relaxed atmosphere and revisits the great classics of the Haute-Normandie region.

3. Le Manoir de la Poterie & Spa | Criquebœuf

What's the spa hotel in Normandy like? On the Côte Fleurie, between Deauville and Honfleur, this pretty manor house and its twin house house 24 rooms and suites. Rustic and contemporary furnishings and objects gleaned from the owners' wanderings create different worlds. The only thing they have in common is the stretched fabric that covers some of the walls. The garden conceals a few curiosities, including mangrove wood animals from India, a selfie mirror and eucalyptus armchairs from Spain. At the Louis XVI, the chef concocts gourmet dishes, featuring local and seafood products, to delight the palate.

And the spa? Facing the sea, the 400m2 Les Thermes spa is dedicated to well-being: whirlpool bath, sauna, hammam and, as in a thalasso, a relaxing balneotherapy bench and sculpting stream jets. The pool, with its rounded shapes, recalls the curves of the Domaine de Villers pool. The 4 cabins feature Phytomer treatments, including the one-and-a-half-hour Remineralizing Resourcing Massage . This ritual includes Oligomer, the brand's legendary seawater-based concentrate.

4. Domaine de la Haie des Granges | Ménilles

What's the hotel like? Between Vernon and Pacy-sur-Eure, in the heart of the Normandy countryside, between cows and apple trees, this former farmhouse is home to a peaceful 3-star hotel. 24 rooms are spread throughout the estate. The Grand Luxe features a private terrace. Two two-bedroom chalets and an appart'hôtel with Jacuzzi provide even greater independence. At the Le Millésime restaurant, chef Arthur Gautier celebrates local produce, notably with an ephemeral menu that can be enjoyed on the terrace in summer. 5. Château d'Audrieu | Audrieu

The pitch : located between Caen and Bayeux, just a few kilometers from the D-Day beaches, Château d'Audrieu stands in the middle of a 25-hectare park planted with trees. The 18th-century building, transformed into a 5-star hotel, elegantly blends luxury with the atmosphere of a family home. What's the hotel like? It immerses guests in château life through its thirty luminous rooms and suites adorned with marble fireplaces and furnished with antique armchairs and large, comfortable beds. 6. La Ferme Saint Siméon | Honfleur

The pitch : located on the Normandy coast, this iconic 5-star hotel in Honfleur, affiliated with Relais & Châteaux, was a favorite haunt of 19th-century Impressionists. What's the hotel like? 8 km from the cliffs of Étretat, this charming Normandy spa hotel nestled in a 20-hectare estate bears the first name of the owners' grandfather, who planted 1,000 Austrian pines four generations ago. The former family home is home to a range of comfortable Charme and Privilège rooms. A little further away, the Nature rooms with terrace are more bohemian. No wifi or TV, but yoga mats, Marshall speakers, Nordic bathtubs and outdoor showers. 9. Le Grand Hôtel Cabourg - MGallery | Cabourg

The pitch: on the shores of the English Channel, overlooking the vast beach of Cabourg, Le Grand Hôtel has been a veritable icon of the Normandy coast since it opened in 1907. The MGallery collection boutique hotel, which has retained its Proustian aura, has a total of 71 rooms, including three recently renovated suites, which open onto a hushed, contemporary decor. Featuring spacious rooms and top-of-the-range bedding, some of the rooms have balconies with breathtaking views of the English Channel. The Le Balbec gourmet restaurant perpetuates the Proustian adventure with French regional cuisine and seafood. At the end of the day, the seafront bar La Belle Époque offers an extensive snack menu.

10. Les manoirs de Tourgéville | Deauville

The pitch: a former property of French film director Claude Lelouch, Les Manoirs de Tourgéville stands out as a house of traditional Norman architecture in the heart of the bocage. Close to Honfleur, the hotel, a member of the Floirat group, continues to forge links with the cinema, hosting personalities from the 7th art at the American Film Festival in Deauville.
